Maybe you don't want to be stuck with the same scent every day! Now you have a choice and you don't have to buy a jar of each scent to be able to have that choice! 

Don't know what a Sugar Scrub Cube is? Let me fill you in :)

Sugar Scrub Cubes work just like jar scrubs you may have used in the past except I don't add water to the product. I figure if you are bathing you have water already :) By eliminating the water the need for preservatives is eliminated as well. So you get the product you want without the chemicals you don't want!

You take one (or more) in the shower and with some warm water, you work the cube into a paste. Massage over your skin paying extra attention to those dry areas (knees, elbows, feet) and rinse. You will feel the skin loving oils and butters left on your skin, which will absorb into your skin leaving it clean, soft and healthy. I personally find it useful to break the cube into 2-4 pieces and use piece by piece. This will minimize waste of product (if you are coordinated like me and you accidentally rinse half the product away without using it haha)

Light of the Moon's Sugar Scrub Cubes are between 98-100% natural! The only things we add, apart from skin-loving plant oils, are vegan friendly fragrances, essential oils and cosmetic and/or food grade colorants. No sulfates, parabens, animal products or animal cruelty (we love our furry friends!)

All products are made in small batches to ensure you get the best every single time! Each cube is hand-cut and hand wrapped so some variation will occur.

Where did May go? If I blink is it going to be Christmas?

Well this month has literally flown by! Between getting ready for craft shows, working on new recipes and most importantly, being the super proud mommy of an awesome 10 year old.

I do have to give a big shout out to my son for an awesome first year at his new school!! He constantly makes me so proud! He has received 2 math awards for working on an 8th grade math level (he is in 4th grade), he received a scholarship award, a citizenship award, a paw award (for consistent positive behavior and respect for himself and others), and to top it all off he was also nominated for a Young Achiever Award. He was voted, by nearly every student in his class, the best student in the class and also won the year long competition for the best behaved student (he is the proud recipient of an Ipod  for his efforts). I am so proud of him and blessed to have him as my son.

I have some fabulous new cupcake soaps coming out soon! They are wonderful and so fun! Great as a treat for friends, family or even yourself! Great for birthdays and celebrations! Nice to have just in case you have a last minute birthday and no time to get a gift.

Another Fabulous Day With Awesome New Friends!

Light of the Moon had a booth at Every Woman's Art & Craft Show this past Saturday in Radcliff at the Colvin Community Center. We met absolutely spectacular new friends and even saw some old friends too! We were treated to some great music from MamaKitty Southwood, Annette Neumann and friends.

Since we were sharing the weekend with the Derby it was a little slow but I think it was a GREAT day!

We made some great connections :) One wonderfully sweet lady went home and used our sugar scrub cubes and some lip products. She then came back and had wonderful things to say and bought more scrub cubes. It was one of the biggest highlights of my day!

Along with great musicians, great customers and new friends.....we also met a wonderful artist Stefanie Meade, of Steff's Fantastical Faces (along with her mother and husband). She does several types of art including face painting, drawing and even makes jewelry!

We can't wait for the next opportunity to meet some new friends!
